Inspired by the book “In en onder het Dorp” by Wiel Kusters. Written for my generation, for those who saw the light of day in the years around the closure of the last Limburg mine. My relatives have worked in and for the mines and lived in or near the village of Spekholzerheide (Kerkrade), The Netherlands.
